"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." -Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
Taysom Hill is the youngest of four siblings. He is from Pocatello, Idaho where he lettered in football, basketball, and track at Highland High School. After high school, he went on to play college football at Brigham Young University. He finished his BYU career as the school’s career leader in quarterback rushing yards and fifth overall in career rushing yards with 2,815. In addition, Hill was a two-time Davey O’Brien and Walter Camp Award watch list honoree.
In 2017, he was undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, but signed with the Green Bay Packers as a free agent. At the conclusion of the preseason, he was released by the Packers. Later, he was claimed off of waivers by the New Orleans Saints. Since arriving to New Orleans, Taysom Hill has been a great contributor to the Saints organization. He literally does it all for the team (well, almost everything). Not only does he throw the football at the quarterback position, but he also rushes and catches the football as well. Hill even makes plays on special teams. He brings an added dimension to not only the Saints organization but to the NFL as a whole with his versatile playmaking ability.
It reminds me of how good God is and how He can do it ALL! He is our creator, provider, forgiver, father, doctor, lawyer, sustainer, and so much more. He is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere. God is consistent and He never changes. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
We may be faced with trials and tribulations, but we can be reminded that God will be there for His people. Always trust Him and use the Word of God as a resource to cling to during the good and difficult moments of life. God is our everything. He can do all things but fail.
God is our resource for everything we need.
