"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." -1 John 4:4 NKJV
Sometimes in basketball and football, athletes (specifically star players) get “doubled teamed” on offense by their opponents because the opposing players and coaches respect the star players’ ability to dominate the game offensively.
Have you ever felt like you have faced obstacle after obstacle double teamed by problems—and you wonder if there will be any relief?
God loves you and has a plan for your life. Know that the enemy doesn’t
mess with people that are not a threat to his kingdom. God’s people are always a threat to the enemy because they interrupt his plans of trying to destroy them or others by causing them to sin. Satan’s job is to destroy many people and keep others from seeking God. We can overcome the enemy’s tactics by being strong in the Lord, growing in our relationship
with God, and by loving God and others. When you pass every test that Satan brings your way, he will come even harder the next time by attacking you with legions (many) of demons, Satan’s fallen angels. These fallen angels are under the control of Satan to tempt people to do evil. God kicked Satan out of heaven because of his rebellion (Ezekiel 28). Now, Satan is mad and is willing to do whatever it takes to attack God’s people and the things of God. Remember that “no weapon formed against you will prosper” as it says in Isaiah 54:17.
Be strong in the Lord, live for Him, obey Him, love Him, and read and
study the bible so that you can truly grow in God daily while understanding the enemy’s tactics. With God on your side, you can’t lose. Even when you are double-teamed, you can only win.
